TWO WAY STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM USING CELLULAR TECHNOLOGY…
INTRODUCTION
The project basically works by sending students information's (IA marks, attendance and college updates) to their guardians using GSM modem.
A GSM modem works only using AT commands.
In case, If any parents want to know regarding their pupils then they can query the institute through messaging service number .
This queries are checked by authorized personals and further they will reply to their messages.
EXISTING SYSTEM
The project basically works by sending students information and events in college guardians as specified in database of college using GSM modem .
Live example of the system is present in VVD school of excellence, Haliyal.
Also in GIT, Belgaum.
PROPOSED SYSTEM
The project basically works by sending students information specified in database of college using GSM modem .
If any parents want to know any information they can query to messaging service number .
The message will be taken in form of query to the database .
Authorized administrator responds to query.

Here we send many messages to 1 person up to 255 characters which may include symbols and numbers.

FUTURE ENHANCEMENTS
The efficiency of developed project can be much enhanced with further modifications.
Moreover the system can be enhanced to control the device to respond automatically to the retrieved queries.
The character length can be increased.
CONCLUSION
The project is an economical idea .
This proposed project will help us to manage students information and sends it to their parents mobile as per the scheduled dates set by the authority.
Even parents can also request for students information.
This reduces the manual work of the office staff of the respective institution.

This proposed project will manages student’s information (such as their IA
averages, Attendance, Events) and sends it to their parent’s mobile as per the scheduled dates
set by the authority. Similarly parents can also request for students information by sending
their request to the service number .And this software provide them with their intended
information they requested with minimal time period.

sending students information automatically as per the scheduled dates. Thus it provides
flexibility by allowing the members to only enter the student’s information within specified
dates and rest of work is taken care by the software automatically without any human
interaction.
As GSM modem works only using AT commands whatever student’s
information needs to be sent is passed to modem using AT commands and thus information
is sent to the intended persons.
If any parents want to know about any information about their children’s then
they will send their request to messing service number .This message will be stored in an
appropriate form, which then can be checked by authorized persons and can reply to intended
person.
