trivectometer working principle

Question 

We are a HT consumer in TN and during the past three months we have encountered a problem in our energy meter. Thrice `demand exceeded' was registered at R5 (5am-9am).Our total connected load is only 216kva and we don't exceed 190 kva at any given time during the day.We report this to the TNEB MRT division.My querry is how do we ensure that the test carried out by EB can detect this error.
