Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a general term for a family of transmission technologies for delivery of voice communications over IP networks such as the Internet.
It is a one way of sending a voice signal also known as an analog signal in a medium which is digital, i.e, the internet.

The process works like this when you have a standard analog telephone attached to your high speed internet connection with VOIP service. There will be an analog telephone adapter or ATA between the phone and the computer.

Week 2-4
The next three weeks included the field operations. The assignment was to scan allotted areas across NCR for potential clients.
Meetings were then fixed by us for the sales manager to close the sales for all interested leads.
Lead generations were the predominant activity.

Week 5 and 6
These two weeks were used for in house data collection and leads follow up.
All the relevant data collected was used for a database which was fabricated for future reference.
Also new outbound leads were taken care of by the team.
Cold calling was done to the already provided database and then prepared datasheets.
Week 7and 8
The team was familiarized to the technical team of the organization. We were appointed to know the technical aspect of VoIP and bandwidth.
We were also assigned to go and give demonstrations to the potential leads.
Also this included backend support to the existing customers.
