A radio station is a set of equipment needed to carry out communication over radio waves. Generally, it is a receiver or transmitter, an antenna, and some smaller additional equipment necessary to operate them. Radio stations play a vital role in communications technology as they rely heavily on the transfer of data and information around the world. More broadly, the definition of a radio station includes the aforementioned equipment and a building in which it is installed. Such a station may include several previously defined "radio stations" (ie, several sets of receivers or transmitters installed in a building but operating independently, and several antennas installed in a field adjacent to the building). This definition of a radio station is more often referred to as a transmitter site, transmitting station, transmitting facility or transmitting station. At the same time, digital technology has produced excellent cultural products. However, the media industry urgently requires new talent to meet future challenges. This postgraduate school deals with four main areas: 1) digital media technology; 2) digital entertainment and networks; 3) digital creation of sound and image; And 4) research on digital culture. For the long-term development and combination of resources, the Postgraduate School of Applied Media Arts will be combined with the Department of Radio and Television, becoming a department and two postgraduate programs. At present, our graduate school already has many alumni in fields such as radio, television, film, advertising, marketing, public relations, digital media, media management and media research.

The diffusion approach in the department combines the theoretical and the practical, and integrates a practicum in the station FM 88.3 in its program. The department is also developing the most advanced digital broadcasting system available (DAB) to be used in teaching, research and internship programs. In the rapidly advancing world of digital technology, the department is required to make rapid adjustments to teaching, research and practice settings.
The goal of television is to establish the new digital television system (DTV) and interactive multimedia system (ADSL), and organize 2D / 3D multimedia post-production software and hardware. The department is establishing multimedia work rooms to accommodate these developments.
The Radio and Television Department also strongly emphasizes relationships with former students. The department has developed an alumni archive, and actively provides relevant training / education, employment and leisure information to alumni through a special alumni website.
