Concrete that is made from environmentally friendly concrete wastes are called as "green concrete". The other name for green concrete is resource saving structures with a reduced environmental impact, eg. Energy saving, CO2 emissions, wastewater. "Green concrete" is a revolutionary subject in the history of the concrete industry. This was first invented in Denmark in the year 1998 by Dr.WG. Concrete wastes such as slags, waste from power plants, recycled concrete, mining waste and quarries, glass waste, waste incinerators, red mud, burned clay, sawdust, combustion ash and smelting sand. Green Concrete is a term given to concrete that has taken additional steps in the design and placement of the mix to ensure a sustainable structure and a long life cycle with a low maintenance surface. Eg Energy saving, CO2 emissions, waste water.
