The timeliness of the Nanded division following the train schedule has earned it the fourth place in India and the first in the state of 70 divisions across the country. Apart from Aurangabad, Jalna, Nanded and Parbhani the other major stations of the division are in Purna, Nagarsol and Adilabad. The Nanded division is considered primarily as a trains division with more passenger trains than freight trains. According to the latest data published by the SCR, the overall punctuality of the trains in the division stands at 99.22% and it is only alongside the Raipur (99.67%), Mysore (99.36%) and Ranchi (99.33%).
K Sinha, the manager of the railroad division (DRM) with the division of Nanded SCR, said on Monday they had created the story by being among the first on the coveted list. "According to the statistics of the August punctual analysis, the Nanded division has reached the punctuality of 100% for express trains in 24 days and has achieved a punctuality of 100% in passenger trains in 19 days," said Sinha. Sinha said scoring high on the punctuality front was a big achievement as the Nanded division has an approximate route of 1,000 km including the 173 km route of the meter line. The division has shown tremendous improvement over the past year.
"This 1,000 km route is a single-lane section that passes through most of the underdeveloped regions of Marathwada, part of Telengana, Vidharbha and Madhya Pradesh. In this one-line section, the running of passenger and freight trains to Time is always a challenge and needs a lot of planning and supervision of different railroad crossings and other assets, "he said. Congratulating all officers and staff, Sinha said that continued efforts were made to achieve the highest scoring score on the Indian railways. "In the single line section of Mudkhed to Manmad, we run 69% more trains than capacity, and yet we have reached a punctuality of 99.22%. This underscores the dedication and continued effort of our officers And personal. "Given the many obstacles they overcome," he said.
Most freight trains are being diverted via Ankai to and from the Nanded Division. This is due to the construction of a main line block is currently underway for the washable apron work at the Nagarsol station and a further block is being built at the Akola Courtyard to install the route relay chain RRI) by the central railway.
Ravindra Gupta, general manager of the SCR, congratulated Nanded DRM and his team for their national achievement. The upper divisions like Raipur, Mysore, and Ranchi have well-established double-line sections. On the other hand, the Nanded Division was carved out of the Hyderabad Division in April 2003.
