The timeliness of the Nanded division following the train schedule has earned it the fourth place in India and the first in the state of 70 divisions across the country. K Sinha, the manager of the railroad division (DRM) with the division of Nanded SCR, said on Monday they had created the story by being among the first on the coveted list. "According to the statistics of the August punctual analysis, the Nanded division has reached the punctuality of 100% for express trains in 24 days and has achieved a punctuality of 100% in passenger trains in 19 days," said Sinha. The division has shown tremendous improvement over the past year.

"This 1,000 km route is a single-lane section that passes through most of the underdeveloped regions of Marathwada, part of Telengana, Vidharbha and Madhya Pradesh.
