PRESENT TECHNOLOGY Indian Experience
1.Maruti Udyog Ltd. At Gurgaon is
employing 4
robots for welding purposes.
2.Bharti Electronics Ltd. is having pick
and place
robot for coating of television tube.
3.Bhabha Atomic Research
Centre,Trombay,is using
a mobile robot for maintenance &
servicing of atomic
reactor.
4.Larsen Turbo,Bombay is using machine
loading
robot at their Powai Plant.
Tomorrows Invention
Honda has came up with two very special
inventions.
They have came up with robots P3 and
robot Asimo.
These two robots have broken in to all
new technology.
They have successfully controlled their
artificial inseminated balance.
Walking has been hard to control for the
simple lack.
Asimo Him Self
He has been a project that has been
contributed to for more then sixteen
years.
He came from three different
experimental projects after they
confirmed the definition of walking with
out falling.
Those three robots were P1 , P2 and P3.
They were of larger based structures
that would not be expectable for every
day people to be walking around with six
foot two androids.

The Characteristics of Motion
There are two types of motion . They are
Servo & Non-Servo.
Non-Servo controlled robots use the
simplest forms of movements.
They are not able to move that much.
They also can not stop between two
points. For instance it would not be
possible for them to pause in the middle
of moving from point A and point B.
Servo controlled robots are much more
flexible .
This is made possible through the
feedback system.

ADVANTAGES
ROBOTS ARE HELPFUL UNDER FOLLOWING
CONDITION
#HAZARDOUS OR UNCOMFORTABLE WORKING
CONDITION
#DIFFICULT HANDLING
#MULTISHIFT OPERATION
#REPITITIVE TASK
Present Day Robots
Robots do not need a lot of the
essential things that humans need to
perform tasks that humans perform.
They donâ„¢t need rest , light , water,
food or clothing.
They also can do the same job repeatedly
with great accuracy.
This is something manufacturing
companies have been wrestling with for
the simple fact that everybody that
works in manufacturing plants do not
work with the same strengths .
RISK SPECIFIC TO ROBOT
#COLLISION BETWEEN MAN AND ROBOT
#WEDGING AND JAMMING
#FAULT IN COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE SYSTEM
#OTHERS
APPLICATIONS
#NON INDUSTRIAL
*OCEAN EXPLORATION
*AGRICULTURE AND FORESTRY
*CONSTRUCTION
*MINING
*DEFENCE
*MEDICAL APPN
*SPACE APPN
*HOUSEHOLD JOBS
Real Robots
Military Robots
Tanks, planes, soldiers, ...
Advantages:
no need for life support
no human casualties
Disadvantages:
"dehumanizes" war
not intelligent (yet!)
#INDUSTRIAL
*ELECTRONIC INDUSTRY
*SYNTHETIC
*AUTOMOBILE INDUSTRY
*PRECISION MACHINARY
CONCLUSION
IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ANY THING
PERFECT IN THIS IMPERFECT WORLD.
