The results of experimental and analytical studies on reinforcement of RC bending using externally bonded adhesive infiltrated grout laminates (SIMCON). A total of four reinforced concrete beams were cast and tested in the laboratory for an effective span of 3000 mm. Three beams were reinforced with a SIMCON laminate bonded to the bottom under virgin state and tested until they failed; The remaining beam was used as a control sample. Static responses of all beams in terms of strength, stiffness, ductility ratio, energy absorption capacity factor, composition between laminate and concrete and the associated failure modes were evaluated. The theoretical moment-curvature relationship for the test sample and the load displacement response of the reinforced bundles and the control beam were predicted using the FEA ANEA software. A comparison was made between the numerical (ANSYS) and experimental and theoretical results. The results show that the reinforced bundles exhibit increased flexural strength, improved flexural stiffness, and composite action until failure.
