Emotional speech recognitional aims at automatically identyfying the emotions or physical state of human being from his or her voice.

– The emotional and physical states of a speaker are known as paralinguistic aspects.

– For emotion recognition from speech LPC has been selected


LPC


LPC is one of the most powerful speech analysis technique and used for encoding good quality speech at low bit rate.
Provides extremelly accurate speech parameters.
Contains formants.removing their effects from the speech signal and estimating the intensity and frequency of the remaiming buzz.
Process of removing the formants is inverse filtering and the remaining signal is the residue.
LPC synthesis the speech signal by reversing the process

formants->to create a filter
Resulting in speech.
