Today, the human being has become too busy and is unable to find time even to turn the lights on or off. This can be seen more effectively in the case of street lights. The current system is like, the street lights will be turned on at night before the sun sets and will be disconnected the next day morning after there is light emission on the roads. But the real moment for these lanterns to light up is when there is absolute darkness on the roads. This project offers the best solution for the production of electrical energy. Manual operation of the lighting system is also eliminated. In our project we are using LDR, which varies according to the amount of light that falls on its surface; This gives an indication to us if it is a day / night. This project can be configured using transistors, CMOS ICs and IC 555. Here we implement this project using IC 555. The IC 555 is an integrated chip used in a variety of pulse generation and oscillator applications. The 555 may be used to provide time delays, such as an oscillator, and as a flop flop. The derivative provides up to four synchronization circuits in one packet. We are also using the relay. A relay is an electrically controllable switch widely used in industrial controls, automobiles and appliances. The relay allows the isolation of two separate sections of a system with two different voltage sources, ie a small amount of voltage / current on one side can handle a large amount of voltage / current on the other side, but there is no possibility Of which these two tensions mix. We use light emitting diodes (LEDs) in this project instead of a bulb. Light-emitting diodes are elements for light-signaling in electronics.
Street lighting provides a safe night environment for all road users including pedestrians. Research indicates that overnight car accidents are significantly reduced by the provision of street lighting. It also helps reduce fears of crime and fosters social inclusion by providing an environment in which people feel they can walk in dark hours. Providing street lighting is one of the most important and costly responsibilities of a city. Lighting can account for 10-38% of the total energy bill in typical cities around the world. Public lighting is a particularly important concern for public authorities in developing countries because of its strategic importance for economic and social stability. Efficient lighting is wasting important financial resources each year and lack of lighting creates unsafe conditions. Energy efficient technologies and design can drastically reduce street lighting costs (often between 25 and 60%). The main consideration in today's field technologies is automation, energy consumption and profitability. Automation aims to reduce the power of man with the help of intelligent systems. Energy saving is the primary consideration forever, as energy sources are being lowered due to several reasons. The main objective of this project is the automatic energy saving system of the street with LDR this is to save energy.
