Continuity and stability were watchwords of corporate operations.
Adoption of operations like ERP Implementations, Balance Scorecard, Supply-Chain Integration including todayâ„¢s favorite Six Sigma
Companies are facing the risk of program proliferation. Bombardier, Air Products &Chemicals, Merck & Co are avoiding this.
Process Management Umbrella ensures the company benefits by proper positioning of the various operations.
Definition
Process Management is a structured approach to performance improvement that centers on the disciplined design and careful execution of a companyâ„¢s end to end business process.
First Steps Toward Process Management:
Identify company processes, typically 5to 10.
Make people through out the company aware of the processes and how their own work fits in.
Assess current process performance & set targets.
Designate process owners.
Select 2-3 processes for redesign &improvement.
Align the companyâ„¢s management systems with new prominence of its processes.
