Circuit breakers are crucial components for the operation of the power system. The currently adapted time-directed maintenance strategy and emerging new condition-based strategy require a flexible information processing technique and software architecture. In this document, mobile agent software has been applied in the implementation of maintenance and repair tasks for circuit breakers. The benefits of using the mobile agent techniques are discussed at the end.
