The plastic injection moulding process produces a large number of high quality parts with high precision, very quickly.
The plastic material in the form of granules is melted until it is soft enough to be injected under pressure to fill a mold. The result is that the form is copied exactly. Once the plastic mold has cooled enough to harden the injection mold opens up releasing the part. The entire injection molding process is then repeated.
