Abstract
We are living in the era of minute by minutedevelopments and new technologies; the demand of easy way oflife is the talk of the day. Engineering industries are focusingon the projects which advance and facilitate their customerswith comfortable and secure living. This paper discusses themost advanced idea of Domotics, in which the comprehensivecontrolling and monitoring of all home appliances are done bysimple instant message service. However, one of the mostsuccessful applications of image analysis and understanding,face recognition has recently received significant attentionespecially in the field of security. Moreover, globally availableGSM is the cheapest wireless medium for any timecommunication with your deployed device. Above all,embedded designing on FPGA emerged a new way oftechnology which allows coupling of multi-dimensionalfeatures of system in to a single chip package.

I. INTRODUCTION
The strong need of user friendly systems that can secure ourassets and protect our privacy without losing our identity ina sea of numbers is obvious. On our ASCI design, thedevice controlling option, 24/7 mobile application andimage processing services has taken a tremendous leap inmolding the vision of domotics in a brand new way.The security system is worth mentioning as itprovides service the resident to observe the arrival of anyperson around their abode. This could be achieving throughimage processing via security cameras. If the capturedindividual is present in the trusted personal list, systemunlocks the gate and allows person come into the house. OnContrary, the doors are fool proof locked and checkedthoroughly. Live streaming through security cameras can beviewed as well [1].(Figure: 1) Main Block Diagram of SystemIf the user is present outside the residentialboundaries, the controlling of appliances can be done viainstant messaging through mobile phones. This serviceallows the user to select any appliance present in any roomof any floor and change its status via GSM based devices. Itproves to be a major advantage to the user to keep a checkon the status at its will. The mobile application developed inJAVA ME Platform provides further friendly and morefeasible environment of controlling. An individual code isassigned to each home appliance and it is send along withthe required instruction(s) to the system through instantmessaging via GSM media where it is decoded and sent toFPGA for simulation and more secure add-ons are included.All the above mentioned services have beenimplemented on the ASIC design. This ASIC design is wellmadethat it provides countless features to its user in aspectof security and remote monitoring and controlling. Thesimulation through FPGA facilitate in creating a multiadvantagedomotics system.The inbuilt keypad locking system enables the user tolock or unlock any door or accessory which has increasedthe security situation tenfold. By providing necessary andself-selected codes, the residential area can be made securewithin a matter of seconds. All data will be enabled after 24hours to the subscribed user.Another rather prominent aspect of controlling deviceshas also been made possible. Controlling devices is donethrough relay cards which have been installed at variouslocations in the home. Intensity controlling is done throughthis mechanism. See (Fig: 1)
II. INTELLIGENT FACIAL RECOGNITION SYSTEM &MONITORING
The purpose is to build an application that will automateour entry on recognizing the face of the personnel enteringthe home. The rationale behind the idea is to simplify lifeand allow fool-proof gate-security to our homes and keep usupdated on people who arrive at our doorstep when we areout of from our homes and allow them entry if we permit.OpenCV libraries are utilized for image handling andmachine learning in real time. The whole task can beseparated into two modules:Face detecting and extracting from live video.Face recognition for opening the entry gatewayaccordingly.
