It also emphasizes the importance of mathematical formulation in converting a vibration problem of distributed parameters into an equivalent problem of grouped parameters. Designed primarily as a textbook for undergraduate and graduate mechanical engineering students, this book would also be useful for undergraduate and postgraduate students in civil engineering, aeronautics and automotive, as well as practical engineers.
