RDWT helps to overcome artifacts due to the variation in power distribution caused by changes in the input signal. In addition, when compared to SVD, QR factorization provides less computational complexity and avoids the emission of false positives; A major defect in singular value decomposition (SVD) -based data concealment methods. In addition, this study also proposes to cover the selection measure based on the statistical analysis of texture. The selection of the cover helps to improve the safety of the steganographic technique. The appropriate cover is decomposed by RDWT and the coded secret image is embedded in the QR factored subband. Several experiments and comparative studies are performed to show the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of imperceptibility, capacity and robustness to various signal processing attacks. It is also examined based on waves and based on contourlet steganalyzer. The mean detection accuracy is 52% and 56%, respectively, indicating poor steganalyzer ability to identify stego images.

Other hidden information methods such as cryptography, watermarking and digital signature differ from the concept of steganography as steganography allows communication to be hidden and also, provides a better quality of the secret image.
