interface webcam to 8051

RPi Cam Web Interface is a web interface for the RPi Cam that can be opened on any browser (smartphones included) and contains the following features:

View, stop and restart a live-preview with low latency and high framerate. Full sensor area available.
Control camera settings like brightness, contrast, ... live
Record full-hd videos and save them on the sd-card packed into mp4 container while the live-preview continues
Take single or multiple (timelapse) full-res pictures and save them on the sd-card (live-preview holds on for a short moment)
Preview, download and delete the saved videos and pictures, zip-download for multiple files
Trigger captures by motion detection
Trigger captures by many scheduling-possibilities
Circular buffer to capture the last actions afterwards
Control Pan-Tilt or Pi-Light
Shutdown/Reboot your Pi from the web interface
Show annotations (eg timestamp) on live-preview and taken images/videos
Supports selection from 2 cameras when used with a compute module
It's been programmed by silvanmelchior as a client for RaspiMJPEG in 2013. Since then, thanks to the help of many other programmers, it has become the best interface to control the RPi Cam over your browser.

Sometimes our USB range of devices will function better on certain USB ports of Mac systems when using video calling software.

Macs that have an iSight camera, will share the USB bandwidth of one port with the iSight. This can cause problems when using video calling applications like Skype or FaceTime. Therefore we recommend that our USB interfaces should be plugged into another USB port, in order to get the best performance.

You can check which port to use by checking in the System Profiler / System Report application of your Mac. Under the USB header, you can check whether your interface is on the same USB bus as the iSight camera. If it is, then simply move it to another available USB port. As per usual, we don't recommend the use of external USB hubs with our products.

Most Macbook Pro models share the port closest to the screen with the iSight camera, so with these Macs we recommend using any other available port. This is not always the case though, so it's still worth checking on your particular Mac.
