Real-time application (DTMF based device control system) DTMF is the acronym for Dual Tone Multi Frequency When you press a button on your mobile keyboard, a two-tone tone will be generated. These tones are called row and column frequencies. Generally, row frequencies are low frequencies and column frequencies are high frequencies.
DTMF Controlled Home Appliances Circuit Principle:
The main principle of this circuit is to control devices such as light and fan using DTMF technology. The DTMF encoder is present on your mobile and the decoder is HT9107B IC. The mobile plug is connected to capacitor 1nf. The mobile cat consists of two wires (red and black). The red wire is connected to the IC of the decoder and the black wire is grounded. When a button is pressed from the mobile it generates a tone that is decoded by the IC decoder and sent to the ATMEGA8 controller. The controller then checks the input and outputs it according to the written code.
