Depending on the size of the hotel, The typical day of a hotel manager can include attendance with operational functions, management of employee performance, management of unsatisfied clients, management of working hours, purchase of supplies, candidates, conducting physical walks and inspections Of hotel facilities and public areas, and additional duties. These duties may vary each day depending on the needs of the property. The manager's responsibility also includes knowing about all current local events as well as the events that are held on the property of the hotel. Managers are often required to attend regular department meetings, management meetings, professional development training seminars, and additional functions. A hotel / casino property may require additional duties with respect to special events held on the property for free casino guests.
