Most of the intelligent antenna system is the selection of beam-forming algorithms in adaptive antenna arrays. Adaptive beam forming algorithms help us to adjust the weight of the antenna assemblies in such a way that a main beam is formed in the direction of the desired target and null in the direction of unwanted targets. This reduces interference and increases the capacity of the communication network which are the desired properties of the smart antenna. This work provides a comparative analysis of the linear quadratic linear algorithm (LMS) of linear linear least squares (LMS) and decision feedback based on the simulation of several parameters such as power, phase and amplitude. The implementation is done with the help of Matlab l. The result shows that the DFE-LMS algorithm is more useful. Smart antennas are widely used for wireless communication as it has the ability to increase the coverage and capacity of a communication system. The intelligent antenna performs two main functions, such as the direction of arrival (DOA) estimation and beam formation. Using the beamforming algorithm. The intelligent antenna is capable of forming the main beam towards the desired user and null in the direction of the interference signals. This article evaluates the performance of the Least Mean Square (LMS) beamforming algorithm in the form of normalized matrix factor (NAF) and mean square error (MSE) by varying the number of elements in the array and the placement between the sensor elements . The simulations are performed with MATLAB.
