A talking ATM is a type of ATM that provides audible instructions so that people who can not read an ATM display can use the machine independently. All audible information is delivered privately through a standard headphone jack on the face of the machine or a separately connected telephone. The information is delivered to the customer through pre-recorded sound files or through text-to-speech voice synthesis.
