The purpose of the Railway Reservation System is to create Reservations, Cancel Reservations, View Train Information, View Reservation Details, Update Train Information, Update Reservation Details and Generate Reports. Reserve seats can not be more than the seats of Train at that date. This is a limitation that must be followed by the Secretary when creating the Reserve. To do this you want to check the remaining seats present on the train.
The scope of this system in the creation of the Reserve is that, from any Train Station we can create Reservation, which is automatically updated in all stations. Therefore, there is no confusion for the reservation employee at all stations to create the reservation. This may be possible by maintaining Global Database. Employees present at different stations can access the global database and employees can easily understand the remaining reservation seats. It provides the possibility to create reservations from different places for a train.
The system is so secure and the employee and manager use it. No one can access the system without your permission because of providing a login facility to the system. The password is in the form of encrypted text using cryptography technology, so it can not be hacked by anyone. The global database can pass through the network in order $ to use! Bymanagers! Or employees in different places. Therefore, we want to provide network security because of data not hacked by other people when it is passing through network cables. This network security is pzovided by cryptograrhy technology.
Benefits and Goals:
The benefit of this project is to reduce the work of the Secretary of Reserve and it is easy to check the remaining seats present on the train and easily see the reservation status of the train and tells the passenger.
The objectives of this project is that, from any Railway Station we can create Reservation, which is automatically updated in all stations. Therefore, there is no confusion for the reservation employee at all stations to create the reservation.
Product performance:
• The person in charge of the reservation takes the detail of the passenger.
• The reservation manager checks if the seats are squared or not.
• If there are seats available, the reservation manager creates the reservation and updates the booking details.
• If there are no seats, place the reservation on the waiting list.
• The reservation manager cancels the reservation and updates the details of the reservation.
• The administrator updates the train information and generates the report.
