In recent times due to the effects of pollution and global warming it is necessary to generate energy from renewable sources. The reason for generating energy using gravity is that it is available throughout the Earth, abundant and consistent as well. In this project, the gravitational energy of a heavy particle is converted into electrical energy. When the heavy particle falls from a higher altitude to a lower one, its potential energy is converted into kinetic energy. Then this energy is converted to electricity using a synchronous motor. With increasing load altitude, the lighting time increases. If the load increases, the energy output also increases, but the lighting time decreases. Using 1 kg of load from the height of 145 cm, the output of the generator is 1.62 J and the illumination time is 42 seconds.
