Tuticorin Thermal Power Station is an electric power plant located near Newport from Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, India, on the seafront of the Bay of Bengal. It has 5 units with a total installed capacity of 1,050 MW and an extension of 160 hectares. The entire unit is based on coal. Coal is transported by sea through the ship. The charcoal transported by ship is destined to crushers that crush the particles of coal to 10-20 mm in diameter. Crushed charcoal is fed to coal mills with bowl rollers through coal bunkers. The powdered coal is pulverised and pulverised. to heat through forced draft fans. There are four mills around the furnace as well as oil injection nozzles from the oil storage for a tangential firing. Haldia, Paradeep, Vizag Port to TTPS.
