Normal traffic light systems operate with a timing mechanism that changes the lights after a given interval. The use of intelligent traffic system controllers will not spend unnecessary time waiting for the traffic lights to change. The 3 signals automatically fall red and green to the ambulance by sending the ambulance signal to the semaphore sensor system.
Today, the fast moving world scene especially in large cities many services are delayed due to traffic jams. Ambulance service is one of the crucial services that are very often delayed. Also sometimes doctors are not available. So the patient does not receive medical attention immediately. To overcome this situation, this document describes a solution that is "intelligent ambulance with traffic control", which includes intelligent traffic control as well as a health surveillance system. In the health monitoring system, the patient's vital parameters such as ECG, heart rate and body temperature are monitored. For ECG measurement, a 2-conductor electrode electrocardiogram technique is used. The heart rate measurement is performed by the photoplethysmography method. LM-35 is used to measure the patient's body temperature. These parameters are sent to a PC by ambulance via serial communication and this data will be sent to the hospital server. In the traffic control part, an RF transmitter in the ambulance will communicate with the RF receiver mounted on the signal pole. An algorithm is used to control traffic signals automatically based on the key pressed by the driver from the keyboard in the ambulance.
