hey! i am working on a project named it Authenticated EVM. i am basically simulating it on matlab. i am using a finger print module for activating ballet machine and for verification purpose and i am stuck. i want to know how i can sync module in matlab or any substitute block of it as there is no such block available for finger print module in matlab 7.0 . can you suggest anything or any software which can help me out.

This report refers to the design and implementation of a fingerprint verification system for a small organization, in particular for the R & D department, which requires high security with a limited number of users. The purpose of the project was to implement the system with the use of an image processor with the Matlab programming tool. Different methods were evaluated and efforts were made to find the most suitable for that special environment. The main problems encountered are image enhancement, feature extraction, template generation and "verification / identification. To take advantage of image processing, most processing was done in the spatial domain. Considered good enough and met the predefined specifications.
