This system really discovers in which electrical line there is a bypass. This is a real-time system. The technique of wireless data transmission and reception is used. This will provide an additional facility of wireless meter reading with the same technique and at the same cost. This will protect the distribution network against theft of energy made by tapping, manipulating meters, etc.

There are two types of techniques to deliver the information to the authorized agency to control the theft of electricity through going through the power meter, which are both wired and wireless. Wired networks require a lot of installation and maintenance costs. There are many technologies in wireless technologies. In this project we have implemented Zigbee technology due to its efficient communication, self-healing networks, low power consumption, zero traffic and can handle more than 60,000 devices and more on the installation of Zigbee communication do not require special permits in most of the places. It uses an unlicensed 2.4 GHz ISM band that is available worldwide. ZIGBEE has an autonomy of between 10 and 2 km and works well with networks such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet and GPRS and also offers a scalable network solution that makes it suitable for use in monitoring and monitoring applications. And we have selected another communication network to be GSM to send SMS to the authorities in case of theft, because GSM has a built-in transport layer encryption, which is compatible with most network providers. GPRS offers a number of security enhancements over existing GSM security. The standards themselves also offer technical features, which a network operator may choose to use. Apart from that, a different form of security could be desired in addition to the safety of the transport layer provided.
