Problem with the convectional concrete is that the steel inside it suffers the rusting which is the major drawback for the entire structure so in order to minimize or to completely remove that problem we need to use the other than steel and the best way to put it without disturbing the strength of steel is using a FIBER.

[/size]There is a vast research going on to improve this type of inducing a fiber in concrete and so this one of a kind of using Recron fiber in the concrete to enhance the strength up to M30 grade concrete and to check in different temperatures

abstract of recron 3s fibre concrete

Fiber-reinforced concrete (FRC) is concrete containing fibrous material which increases its structural integrity. It contains short discrete fibers that are uniformly distributed and randomly oriented. Fibers include steel fibers, glass fibers, synthetic fibers and natural fibers – each of which lend varying properties to the concrete. In addition, the character of fiber-reinforced concrete changes with varying concretes, fiber materials, geometries, distribution, orientation, and densities.

Today, concrete is used in a variety of innovative designs because of its many valuable properties such as high compressive strength, stiffness, low thermal and electrical conductivity and low combustibility and toxicity. However, concrete is also known to be brittle and weak in tension and develops cracks during curing, due to thermal expansion and contraction over a period of time.

The recent development of Secondary reinforcement in Concrete in various fields has provided a strong technical base for improving these deficiencies.

Reliance brings you the cutting edge technology via Recron© 3s, a speciality secondary reinforcement material developed after extensive research at Reliance Technology Centre.

Applications:

Recron 3S has a wide number of applications in the construction industry.

1. Concrete: Floor, slab, beam, piles, retaining walls, lintel, road, bridges, airport runways etc.

Advantages:

Improves homogeneity of the concrete by reducing segregation of aggregates.
Reduces shrinkage cracks/micro cracks
Increases abrasion resistance by more than 25%.
Increases impact and shatter resistance by 100%
Increases ductility, compressive, flexural and tensile strength
Reduces water permeability which helps prevent correction of primary steel
Increases energy absorption capability of concrete
Replaces or reduces non-structural steel in floors, roads and pavement i.e. slab on grade helps increases joint spacing.

2. PLASTER: Internal Plaster, External Plaster, Gunnite, Shot Crete, Decorative precast Panel

Advantage:

Reduces re-bond loss by 50%-70%
Checks dampness, saves on repainting cost
Improved shatter resistance in walls.
Checks cracks propagation while cutting groves for conduit laying
3. PLASTER OF PARIS(POP):

Advantage:

Checks rebound loss, reduces cracks, speeds up work and gives a nice look to the wall

4. PRE-CAST MATERIAL: Blocks, pavers, tiles, pipe and railway sleepers

Advantage:

Low curing time promotes high productivity
Reduced breakage during production / transits and placement improves resistance to abrasion shatter and impact

Specifications

Cut length: 3mm, 4.8mm, 6mm or 12mm.
