The boiler is a closed vessel in which steam is generated for use outside itself but does not include a pressure vessel,
I) Capacity less than 25 liters, or
Ii) Design and working pressure of less than 1 kg / cm2, or
(Iii) The water is heated below 100 ° C
Inspection of the Factory State Authority issues drawings and certificates (Form II, III, IV-A and III-C) of boilers. The application for registration of the boiler together with the previous documents, the fee for registration through challan and the property of the company must be submitted to the boiler inspection. In the case of large boilers that require assembly and welding on site, the proper class details of boiler erector with the letter of consent and technical capability must also be submitted.
Inspection of the boiler will carry out the necessary inspection and testing within 30 days from the date of receipt of the request and will allow the boiler to be used from the date of inspection. An application must be submitted to the Boiler Inspection, Chhattisgarh for the transfer of a boiler from another State for installation and use in Chhattisgarh. In addition to the name of the request of the State from which the transfer is requested, the registration number of the boiler, the document on proof of purchase (receipt of money / invoice, etc.) and ownership of the company must be submitted. Upon receipt of the request, Inspection Memorandum and record book are obtained from the inspection of the boiler in question and then the property of the boiler is recorded in favor of the applicant. Thereafter, the inspection and testing are performed and the boiler is allowed for use from the date of inspection and testing.
