The automatic crack detection system is built using vibration sensors and MEMS technology. Vibration sensor is used to detect the crack that has the speed of response to vibrations. MEMS are used to detect deviations and dislocations of the track. MEMS is Micro Electro Mechanical System that combines electrical and mechanical components. Transport is a key need for specialization that allows the production and consumption of products to occur in different places. Transport has been throughout history a stimulus for expansion, as better transport leads to more trade. Economic prosperity has always depended on increased capacity and rationality of transport. But the infrastructure and operation of transportation has a great impact on the land and is the biggest drainer of energy, making transport sustainability and safety an important issue. In India we find that rail transport occupies a prominent position in providing the necessary transport infrastructure to sustain and extinguish the ever-increasing needs of a rapidly growing economy. Today, India has the fourth largest rail network in the world. However, in terms of reliability and safety parameters, we have not yet reached truly global standards. The main problem has been the lack of cheap and efficient technology to detect problems on the railways and, of course, the lack of adequate maintenance of the rails that have led to the formation of cracks in the rails and other similar problems caused by Antisocial measures Elements that endanger the operational safety of rail transport. In the past, this problem has led to a series of derailments that resulted in a great loss of lives and property. Cracks in the lanes have been identified as the leading cause of derailment in the past, however, there have been no cheap automated solutions available for testing purposes. Therefore, due to the crucial impact of this problem, an efficient and cost-effective solution suitable for large-scale application is required. The new method using simple components, including a GPS module, a GSM modem, an infrared transmitter and a receiver based on a fissure detector, is very useful in detecting railway cracks. This idea can be implemented over the long term to provide better security standards and provide an effective testing infrastructure for better results in the future.
