Abstract
RFID is an upcoming technology which is becoming popular due to its non line of sight operation. While there are many advantages associated with an RFID system, due to its wireless nature there is also a threat to user privacy and security. The consumers using an RFID device can be tracked and knowledge about the products they use can also be obtained. Hence, there is an urgent need to ensure adequate privacy and security of RFID systems. In this report, various methods are discussed to ensure RFID privacy. In particular Hash Chaining and Blocker Tags are discussed.
