ABSTRACT
Now a days with the fast approaching technology our lives are becoming more and more sensitive. One of the most fearsome act is forward without knowing what inftront of us is. The miner is in above the cases. He has to approach the greater depths. Our concept is to design a portable lite weight sensor kit which can detect dangerous gases and gives out the alarm along with transmitting the detected signal to the base station on the ground.
Our project is designed with 8051 family micro-controller, ADC, 16x2dotmatrix LCD display and ZIGBEE transceivers.
We used the ZIGBEE protocol to transmit the detected signal, some sensor kit to base station. Both the transmitter and receivers are provided with 433 MHz Zigbee transceivers
