A funny anchor script for the university festival

And yes, the anchor plays a very important role in keeping the crowds together, keeping them entertained and therefore in a state of mind so that they wait with interest the program until the end. It also sets a tone, in a way, for the program to continue.

If the start is good, the anchorage between the slots is good, people enjoy that and all are happy-happy. If it's downright monotonous, people just want you to leave the stage as soon as possible.

Now the question is: what do we really mean by entertainment? A simple answer of a line would be anything that is a bit humorous.

There are different moods possible while you are anchoring - you can choose to be informative, you can choose to elaborate on the festival / program / participants / story, etc. But all of these can become very boring for the public.

So while very formal events could really need scripting without being funny, most other events would be a success in the anchoring context, if it has a humorous taste.

Now the humor has a very wide bandwidth so all you can incorporate, there may be satire / sarcasm / one-liners / punches / satire / sitcom, etc. It depends on the audience, actually. Not everyone will be able to click with their satire / sarcasm. So this is completely your domain according to the audience. But how long and short of what it is, what is a bit funny always helps.

Second, break the fourth wall. It can really help you if you can interact with the audience. Prepare some fillings / questions from the audience / games. People look up at those things.

Third, keep the atmosphere energetic. This helps a lot. When people around are in full throttle mode, they tend to enjoy the program even more. You can have some skills within the audience / divide into teams / stage games and so on.

And lastly, do not go totally scripted. This is important. It might seem mechanical after a while. Be ready to go improvised sometimes. It is necessary to modify the script on the stage according to the events of the audience and the program, to your liking. You may realize what the audience likes, and you have to repeat it a few times just for your entertainment. Situations that you may not have thought of can occur when you need to be at your wits and handle the situation accordingly. The best strategy here would be to go totally impromptu.

You never know, you can create the mood out of the air sometimes.

Issue 1: One more thing I'd like to add, offensive jokes or offensive jokes. This depends entirely on the audience and the event. Whether or not they can accept it. - No jokes of the time. Why? Because we break them only once a month.
