The rapid growth of technology and infrastructure has made life easier for us. The advent of technology has also increased the dangers of traffic and traffic accidents occur frequently causing huge loss of lives and property due to poor emergency facilities. Our project will provide an optimal solution for this setback. An accelerometer can be used in a car alarm application so that dangerous driving can be detected. It can be used as a drop or tilt detector of the vehicle during and after an accident. With the signals of an accelerometer, a serious accident can be recognized. According to this project, when a vehicle encounters an accident immediately The vibration sensor will detect the signal or if a car is moving, and the microelectronic system (MEMS) sensor will detect the signal and send it to the ARM controller. The microcontroller sends the alert message via the GSM MODEM including the location to the police control room or a rescue team. So the police can immediately trace the location through the GPS MODEM, after receiving the information. Then, after shaping the location will take the necessary action. If the person encounters a minor accident or if there is no serious threat to someone's life, then the alert message can be terminated by the driver by a switch provided in order to avoid wasting the valuable time of the rescue team doctor. This paper is useful in detecting the accident precisely by means of the vibration sensor and the mechanical electromechanical system (MEMS) or the accelerometer. As there is room for improvement and as a future implementation we can add a wireless webcam to capture the images that will help in providing driver assistance.
