Cut lemon and other similar fruit is typically done manually by a sharp knife, which is a work intensive and often not hygienic. In the present work, a device was designed and developed for cutting lemon hygienically in four pieces of form similar to strawberries of stationery and centralizing rotation base / location slotted plate concept. The machine has a set of unique knife made knives in the shape of two birds ' wings, assembled by welding at right angles to a vertical knife, so the lemon can be cut into four pieces in a single scan. Six issues of centralizing rotation / positioning of cracked plates are welded on the side plates and the plates feature a gorge on its inner face, allowing the knife in wing form to complete the horizontal cut. The plates split rotation, having the Central angle of 90 ° are put into rotation by an electric gear motor. The prototype machine has a capacity of more than 5000 lemons / h with a consumption of 0.11 kW power.
