ABSTRACT:

The concept of magnetically levitated or maglev trains is of very much interesting.
The conventional trains with wheels and guide rails turn to be uneconomical beyond 200 km/hr because at this high speed, air resistance and hence the drag force increases. Therefore, they are very much expensive and require intensive maintenance. Maglev trains avoid these disadvantages and prove highly beneficial.

1.1 History
First generation Maglev systems have been developed in Japan and Germany.
Hermann Kemper began research on Maglev system in Germany and conducted successfully tests in the 1930’s (receiving a patent in 1934).
In the late 1960’s the German government began a study of traffic and modes which led to the development of very high speed maglev system by the German ministry of research and technology. The development included short stator, EDS and EMS technology and sy ....etc

Abstract
The diagnosis system of Maglev Train is introduced in this paper. The system structure and diagnosis method are analyzed and discussed in detail. The disadvantages of diagnosis system are proposed. In virtue of the theory of ADS (Autonomous Decentralized System), some basic ideas of ADS are applied in new diagnosis system. The structure, component parts and diagnosis method of new diagnosis system are proposed, designed and discussed in detail. The idea has been around since 1904 when Robert Goddard, an American Rocket scientist, created a theory that trains could be lifted off the tracks by the use of electromagnetic rails.
