This seminar deals with the new technology named ?Touch Screen?. By this, technology the purpose means just in the name touch the screen and activate instructions. Instead of the keyboard or mouse we can operate or stimulate an instruction or command by touching on the screen by our finger.And through this seminar I am trying to explain about the touch screen, the advantages and major marketing areas where the touch screens used and some applications.This technology is nothing but software with CPU like hardware and touch screen technology digi ....etc

This is very useful project for hotels. In hotels normally the cashier will write the items and calculate the rate and gives the bill .Instead of calculating the rate manually and writing the bill, we can design a system that will produce a real bill.
Her we can enter the items and their quantity through the key pad. Then microcontroller will calculate the total price and it will printout the bill using thermal printer. Also total price will display in LCD. This will reduce manual work. It is efficient and faster ....etc

Introduction
The touch-sensor technology is about using our fingers or some other pointer, to view and manipulate information on a screen. On a conventional system, with every mouse click, the operating system registers a mouse event. With a touch-screen system, every time your finger touches the screen, a touch event is registered.
