Abstract

We propose Bubble-Sensing, a new sensor network abstraction that allows mobile phones users to create a binding between tasks (e.g., take a photo, or sample audio every hour indefinitely) and the physical world at locations of interest, that remains active for a duration set by the user. The World Wide Web Consortium has created an SGML working group to build a set of specifications that are easy and straightforward to use. The subset called XML has the advantages of SGML that is extensibility, structure, and validation in a language and is very easy to learn, use and implement than full SGML. XML is fully internationalized for both European and Asian languages, with all conforming processors required to support the Unicode character set in both its UTF-8 and UTF-16 encoding. The drawback is that XUL provides no means to change an element's function. For example, one might want to change how the pieces of a scroll bar work. This is where XBL comes in.
