Face Recognition Using Laplacian faces
Abstract: The face recognition is a fairly controversial subject right now. A system such as this can recognize and track dangerous criminals and terrorists in a crowd, but some contend that it is an extreme invasion of privacy. The proponents of large-scale face recognition feel that it is a necessary evil to make our country safer. It could benefit the visually impaired and allow them to interact more easily with the environment. Also, a computer vision-based authentication system could be put in pl ....etc

Chapter 1
INTRODUCTION

Recently, the concept of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) radars has drawn considerable attention. MIMO radars emit orthogonal waveforms or non coherent waveforms instead of transmitting coherent waveforms which form a focused beam in traditional transmitter based beam forming. In the MIMO radar receiver, a matched filter bank is used to extract the orthogonal waveform components. There are two different kinds of approaches for using the non coherent waveforms. First, increased spatial ....etc

Abstract
In this work, we proposed a comparative analysis forthe performance-complexity tradeoff of several Hybrid Groupblindmultiuser detectors with polynomial expansion (MuDGroup-Blind PE). Using flop notation, the computacionalcomplexity for the three forms of SBld-MuD-II hybrid detectorbased on polinomial approximation was compared. MCS resultsindicated the superiority of the SBld-MuD-I detector in thepresence of parameters errors estimates and for the SBld-MuD-IIdetector with polinomial approach based on Gershgorin circles.

Abstract— Similarity search has been widely used in many applications such as information retrieval, image data analysis, and time-series matching. Previous work on similarity search usually consider the search problem in the full space. In this paper, however, we tackle a problem, subspace similarity search, which finds all data objects that match with a query object in the subspace instead of the original full space. In particular, the query object can specify arbitrary subspace with arbitrary number of dimensions. Due to the exponential nu ....etc

Abstract—
Clustering is a popular technique for analyzing microarray data sets, with n genes and m experimental conditions. As explored by biologists, there is a real need to identify coregulated gene clusters, which include both positive and negative regulated gene clusters. The existing pattern-based and tendency-based clustering approaches cannot directly be applied to find such

Face recognition using Laplacianfaces
ABSTRACT

We propose an appearance-based face recognition method called the Laplacianface approach. By using Locality Preserving Projections (LPP), the face images are mapped into a face subspace for analysis. Different from Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) which effectively see only the Euclidean structure of face space, LPP finds an embedding that preserves local information, and obtains a face subspace that best detects the ess ....etc

Networked computer systems are rapidly growing in importance as the medium of choice for the storage and exchange of information. However, current systems afford little privacy to their users, and typically store any given data item in only one or a few fixed places, creating a central point of failure. Because of a continued desire among individuals to protect the privacy of their authorship or readership of various types of sensitive information, and the undesirability of central points of failure which can be attacked by opponents wishing t ....etc
