ABSTRACT
This project work deals with a detailed study and design procedure of pressure vessel. A detailed study of various parts of pressure vessels like shell, closure, support, flanges, nozzles etc. Design is carried according to rules of ASME code section VIII, Division I.
The first chapter deals with detailed study of pressure vessel i.e. the various materials used in pressure construction and temperature are mentioned .It also deals with the study of various parts like flanges, support e ....etc

What is cryogenic heat treatment?
Cryogenic heat treatment is the ultra low temperature processing of materials to enhance their desired metallurgical and structural properties
The temperature is about -196°C or 77°K
Ultra cold temperatures are achieved using computer controls, a well-insulated treatment chamber and liquid nitrogen (LN2)
They are completely environmentally friendly and actually help reduce waste

WHAT IS IT..????
It is a graphical plot between the different temperatures, Carbon content and phases of iron.
It is known as equilibrium diagram because the state of the system remains constant over a period of time
To produce the diagram or the graphical plot a series of cooling and heating curves of Iron with varying Carbon content was obtained.
Then the critical points of the cooling and heating curve were plotted on a temperature vs C content plot and thus the Iron carb ....etc
