Hello this is Astika, I am a final year student at the University of Mauritius in the BEng Electronic and Communication Engineering programme and I am currently doing my degree project on Network Security. The aim is to enhance the IDS Snort and making a testbed for network training and simulation. I am about to do my final year project about guard against zero-day vulnerabilities by deploying Snort IDS.

My adviser suggests that I have to do something more than installing and configuring Snort, creating honeypot, and testing the network against zero-day attack.
