Hello guys

I need to develop a counter based on IR to count the no of objects passing in the conveyor and it needed to be display in LCD and has to be updated evry time a object pass through conveyor in LCD.

I thought of using 89c51 microcontroller.

I can able to interface IR and LCD to microcontroller, but i dont know how to write a code to count the object and update in LCD. so can anyone help me out plssssss

In many industries there is need of automation to reduce the manpower. But sometimes automation may result into some faults that may cause serious problems. When the bottles are placed inside the boxes automatically, there are chances of mistakes. To overcome such mistakes a mechanism is made to detect any error.
