The project entitled Route tracking system has been designed to ,track the path through which the message or data packets passes through the various routers. A visual display ,of the traced path is given on a world map. It also helps to locate faulty routers on the network. It is developed using VC++ as the front end and MS ACCESS as back end. Existing system does not give a visual display of routers through which data packets passes. Also, it does not provide the complete details of the routers. Moreover, it is time consuming. switching schemes for ad hoc wireless networks, namely
reservation-based (RB) and non-reservation-based (NRB) is investigated.
It is shown that route reservation would be a scheme
of choice in a scenario where delay is a constraint, the network
is dense, and/or nodes move with moderate speed. However, a
non-reservation scheme is preferable in a scenario where the
network is sparse, there is heavy traffic load, nodes are static,
