A practical method of modeling wind generator control systems for network simulation using Matlab-Simulink is presented. The interface developed between PSS/E and Matlab-Simulink allows the models generated to be used directly in PSS/E dynamic simulation. How to understand the Simulink messages on the ACLine parameters presented as following strings:
Resistances
Inductances ?
Are these r and x specific parameters (per unit length) or they relate to the full length of the line?
For an inductance do the values mean inductivity (L in henry) or
reactance (x = wL in Ohms) ?
The values at the end of strings are they in pu or something else ? ....etc
