Abstract

One of the challenges in computer programming is internetworking with TCP/IP, not only because of its popularity, but also because of its complexity.
This thesis attemps to explain the way the socket programming interface works with TCP/IP and the way the Visual Basic socket custom control works with TCP/IP within 32-bit Windows environment.
