The need for the implementation of high-resolution modes, with seaborne targets identification for the Italian Navy, pushed to the extension of the Grifo Radar to high-resolution applications.With the new capability, making use of the Deramp On Receive technique, Grifo Radar can now perform Spot-SAR on ground patch as well as ISAR upon A/A and A/S tar ....etc

Introduction

When a disaster occurs it is very important to grasp the situation as soon as possible. But it is very difficult to get the information from the ground because there are a lot of things which prevent us from getting such important data such as clouds and volcanic eruptions. While using an optical sensor, large amount of data is shut out by such barriers. This is the age of speed. We can see people zipping down the highways at unimaginable speed. Long before the invention of radar guns in 1970's and laser speed guns in 1990's the police had a very tedious job in detecting those vehicles which where driven at over speed.
