Line follower is a machine that can follow a path. The path can be visible like a black line on a white surface (or vice-versa) or it can be invisible like a magnetic field.
Why build a line follower?
Sensing a line and maneuvering the robot to stay on course, while constantly correcting wrong moves using feedback mechanism forms a simple yet effective closed loop system.

here the Line follower robot follow the black line on the white surface with the help of two different sensor. Both the sensor sense the black line and if the sensor is on the white surface then robot slightly changes its position and again follow the black line ....etc

MICROCONTROLLER:
In this project we use 89S52 controller as a main processor to done all the activity of this project. 89S52 is a 40 pin member of the 8051 family.
MOTOR’S:
In this project we use two slow speed dc motor to run the vehicle on the track. Along with vehicle movement we use two another motor for arm movement .In this project we use four slow speed motor. Working voltage of these motor’s is 6- 9 volt dc. These type of motor’s are slow speed gear motor. These motor’s cons ....etc
