ABSTRACT
The project 'IR MUSIC TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER' is designed to generate audio musical notes using UM66 and heard up to distance of 10 metres. The melody generated is transmitted through infra red and is reproduced at the remote place without any noise and disturbance.

The infrared radiations are transmitted and received by ir leds and photo transistor respectively
The project emphases the way by which music is generated and driven by ir rays
The main idea behind this project is to generate musical notes by infrared radiations
The circuit uses popular melody generator IC UM66.
It can be used in wireless music systems.

By using this project audio musical notes can be generated and heard up to a distance of 10 meters. The circuit can be divided into two parts: IR music transmitter and receiver. The IR music transmitter works off a 9V battery, while the IR music receiver works off regulated 9V to 12V. The transmitter uses popular melody generator IC UM66 that can continuously generate musical tones. The output of this music melody generator is fed to the IR driver stage to get the maximum range.
