Web database publishing is a new way to publish information electronically. A typical Web database publishing system has a Web browser as its user interface, a database server as its information store, and a Web server connecting the two. The use of sensor networks in aquatic environments has been quite limited, partially due to the harsh underwater environments and associated high system costs.
